This week has been really amazing regarding Zak. He has overcome so much just recently. Zak has gone from being very non verbal, having various sensory issues,as well as having autism , global delay development, gene 16p 11.2 microduplication. To well can only be described as a normal toddler, which makes me very happy.
Zak overcame so many sensory issues as he would never play with water so imagine my surprise when I saw him do this. The fact that his older brother Luke was in the same pool was an achievement in itself as he has autism, global delay development and Gene 16p 11.2
Zak has also a lot of feeding issues and despite being 3 and half is living on fortified milk which he has done since he was year old. I would love him to start eating. Well he only sat and ate a packet of crisps this week . I know its not healthy but he actually ate something and not just a few mouthfuls.
Today Zak’s talking has been so clear. Before he has only had a few words in his vocabulary 30 at the most. Yet today he has been chatting away in complete sentences, that made sense as well. I am so proud of him.

After the last few months that have been very tough and dark its great to get weeks like this. It’s certainly been an amazing week for Zak.
