On February 14 CHD-UK are asking people to wear RED to help raise awareness of Congenital Heart Defects as you explain to people why you are wearing RED . This is a very important cause as it supports and helps adults, young people and children and their families by educating, supporting them through what can be a very tough time.
I myself have a Congenital Heart Defect as just recently I found I have a hole in my heart that I have had since birth but has never been detected. I found CHD_UK a great source of information, assurance. Everyone was so welcoming as I chatted to them online. I was lost in a sea of terminology the lovely people at CHD-UK helped explain it all to me.
All money raised will go towards buying a multi function patient monitor and CHD-UK.
